Blog 7: An interesting hobby

 Hello everyone! Today I will talk about what I do in my free time.

I don’t know if i really have a hobby, because when i have free time, i usually use it to do things related to dance, but not in an academic way. I like to create my own choreographies, make videos and edit. In the last time, i have been very close to the audiovisual world, since my sister is a documentary director and my best friends are studying cinema. Before they studied cinema, they danced, and we had a crew in which we all danced together. Now that crew changed and became a video-dance collective called Acaxia. So, when i have free time i mostly use it to create new projects with my partners.

During 2020, our projects were paused because of the pandemic. We tried to generate projects together but we couldn’t, so each one of us continued doing their own things. I have learn a lot. At first, it was very difficult for me to dance, film myself and edit, but I had a lot of fun learning how to use a camera, and how to use Adobe Premiere to edit my videos. It was a challenge for me, but i have to say that I spent most of the quarantine doing that.
