Blog 3: My favorite band

 At this point in my life i think i don’t  have a favorite band anymore, so i will talk about a band that was my favorite when i was a teenager, and that I still listening and loving: Radiohead. 

When I was around 15 years old, I was looking for my identity, a way of being or a particular style with which to express myself in the world, so I started listening to alternative rock and that type of music, because i felt close to the feeling of those artists. 

That’s when i started listening to Radiohead. At first i only listened to their first two albums: “Pablo Honey” and “The Bends”, since they were the most pop, melancholic and dramatic albums. I knew the song "Creep" by heart, which is a very sad and depressive song, and is also the most commercial song of them, that’s why they never played it again. 

When i grew up, i started to listen the rest of their albums, and i understood how complex their music is. Radiohead has had an impressive musical evolution; they create their music using references from many different styles, and they have become an icon of alternative rock, among other styles.
